Access Statement for Geminair Holiday and Business Apartments 

Introduction

We provide short term accommodation for holiday and business guests, and bearing in mind that we are a traditional type of older building, can only provide accessible facilities within the restrictions that exist by virtue of its form and layout.

Arrival & Car Parking Facilities

• We have limited parking available on the premises and there is free off street parking in Helena Road.
• The car park is hard surfaced with a dropped kerb.
• The contact phone number is displayed externally.
• There is an intercom call button situated in the entrance porch.  

 
Main Entrance, Reception & Ticketing Area

• In the main entrance there are two steps up to the porch, and a further two threshold steps within the porch leading to the entrance hall.
• Additional keys are available to flats on request.
• Seating is available outside the main entrance and in the hall.
• The main entrance has two single side hung doors.
• The entrance is only suitable for persons who are able to leave their wheelchair and climb the steps for access.

 
Public Areas - Hall, Stairs, Landing, Corridors etc

• There are no lifts or escalators.
• There are four floors in the building, all of which except the ground floor are accessed by flights of stairs.
• The house is carpeted throughout.

Additional Information

• Dogs are allowed in our apartments.
